What happens when AI meets laundry day.
“Demons in the Drum” was never meant to exist.
It started during the very first day (5th June 2024) we were allowed to upload our own audio to Udio. I was messing around, doing laundry, and thought:
“Why not record the washing machine and upload it for a laugh?”
Famous last words.
Udio took that innocent spin-cycle recording and went absolutely feral with it.
I prompted it to be creepy and haunting… AND I told it my name.
The result?
A full-on sci-fi horror moment featuring a creature trapped in the drum…
whispering “Soosan” like it was summoning me from another dimension.
To any Susan out there - I’m so sorry.
I didn’t mean to unleash laundry demons onto your day.
But Seriously?
The piece that came out of it is weirdly brilliant.
Creepy, cinematic, glitchy, sci-fi, and unintentionally hilarious.
I haven’t listened to it in over a year - and it still holds up.
It deserves its own spotlight.
So here it is:
Demons in the Drum - the haunted spin cycle nobody asked for, but everyone needs to hear.

And if your drum starts whispering your name… that wasn’t me.
